Official Nautique Press Release:
ORLANDO, FL (September 15, 2026) - Nautique Boats hosted the Nautique Wakesurf Masters Championships and Nautique Wakeboard World Championships this past weekend at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, where 284 professional and amateur athletes representing 23 countries competed for individual world championship honors and the 2026 Nautique Wake Series and Nautique Wakesurf Series titles.
With a rich history in towed watersports, Robin Lake provided the perfect setting for the culmination of the 2026 season and an opportunity for the world’s top wakeboard and wakesurf athletes to come together for one of the sport’s most anticipated weekends. Securing points throughout the season to win a Nautique Series title is one of the most prestigious accomplishments in competitive wakeboarding and wakesurfing, making the weekend a defining moment for athletes across both disciplines.
In Pro Men Surf, Team Nautique athlete Joey Harris delivered his signature explosive style behind the Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon, earning the World Championship victory with teammate Noah Flegel finishing second. Harris’ performance also secured him the 2026 Nautique Wakesurf Series title in Pro Men Surf, with Flegel finishing second overall.
“I had such an awesome time here at the Masters Wakesurf Championships,” said Team Nautique athlete Joey Harris. “Everyone was ripping out here, and I’m grateful to have gotten the win in the Pro Men Surf division. Also, I’m super stoked to take the W in Pro Men Surf for the 2026 Nautique Wakesurf Series! Huge thank you to Nautique Boats and the WWA for putting this event together! What a sick way to end the year and looking forward to the next.”
In Pro Women Surf and Pro Women Skim, Team Nautique athlete Bailey Dunn finished third in both divisions, earning enough points to be crowned the 2026 Nautique Wakesurf Series Champion in both divisions. The achievement marks Dunn’s third Nautique Wakesurf Series title in the Pro Women Skim division. Team Nautique teammate Jodi Grassman finished second overall in both divisions.
“It’s been an amazing year traveling to all the different Nautique events and meeting so many wonderful people along the way,” said Team Nautique athlete Bailey Dunn. “I’m always so impressed by the level of riding that happens behind the G23 Paragon. At the end of every day, I’m humbled by the talent, the people, and the experiences this sport continues to bring into my life. As this year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you to everyone involved, and, most importantly, to my family for continuing to support me.”
Flegel continued his dominant season in the Pro Men Foil divisions, taking the win in both Pro Men Foil and Pro Men Foil – Strapped. With these wins, Flegel remains undefeated since the inception of the Pro Men Foil divisions. During Pro Men Foil, Flegel also landed the first-ever strapless backflip in competition, marking another significant progression in the sport.
In Pro Women Wakeboard, Team Nautique athlete Zahra Kell earned third place behind the Super Air Nautique G23, accumulating enough points throughout the season to secure the 2026 Nautique Wake Series title in Pro Women Wakeboard despite a mid-season injury. The victory marks Kell’s fourth consecutive Nautique Wake Series title.
“Winning the Nautique Wake Series for the fourth year in a row is an absolute dream come true,” said Team Nautique athlete Zahra Kell. “Keeping your body at 100% all season without injury is not easy and I’m so stoked to make this happen! Thank you so much to Nautique and the WWA for amazing wakes and events!”
In the Pro Men Wakeboard division, Team Nautique athlete Cory Teunissen finished second overall in the 2026 Nautique Wake Series.
“As another remarkable season concludes, we are honored to celebrate the athletes shaping the future of wakeboarding and wakesurfing,” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “The level of competition continues to increase and the Super Air Nautique G23 and G23 Paragon provide the wakes and waves that allow athletes to push their riding further.
