    disabling perfect pass?

I'm trying to figure out a stalling problem that my 06 SANTE is having. I've been going down the list of possible causes and would like to single out the Perfect Pass to see if it could be the cause. My question is, How can I unhook/disable the perfect pass? Is there a fuse I can pull? Or do I have to unhook the wiring on the back of the Faria gauge? Your advice is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Why not just turn it off?

my problem occurs even when it is off. I have a suspicion that even though it is turned off a problem with the PP computer may affect the throttle on the boat. When perfect pass is switched off and I hit a bump, it beeps and I lose all throttle control and the boat returns to idle. I checked the wires on the back and they seem to be tight.

Unplug the wiring to the PP box. I assume it is under the dash and easily accessible.

In 06 there is no perfectpass box, just the in-dash display and the program chip that lives in the Faria gateway box. With the throttle by wire systems, there is not a lot of hardware involved in Perfectpass. In dash display, chip in Faria box, paddle wheel, (and slalom/jump timer(s) and rope switch if used)

I am having similar problems on my 2004 210 Air Nautique. When Perfect Pass is on, the boat will be running fine and then all of a sudden stall. PP goes blank, all of the dash lights go off, but the boat never goes dead. I bring the boat to neutral and then resume speed just fine. It does this sporadically. At other times, PP will randomly beep and reset itself, but the boat doesn't stall. These problems occur regardless if PP is on or off. Any suggestions would be great!

I’m currently having this issue with my 07 226. Any insight so I don’t have to reach out to PCM, would be greatly appreciated. My boat stops when I go full throttle, but I can gradually get up to speed. Seemed to have started after calibrating my speeds on both the PP and Speedo.

                    thanks
