Anyone have any experience bending teak? I thought I would build some teak steamer chairs, until today.
For practice, thought I'd build my transom guard so I dragged out my boiler, pipe etc. Steamed (4) 4/4 X 11/2" for two hours. Broke the first three on the last turns on the clamps. Said a few prayers and was able to bend the fourth but not before I bent my 1" schedule 40 pipe in my jig.
