Last weekend I got out on the lake and my swim platform was coming up. I found out that one of the pins got pulled somewhere. I don't really know how, since the pins aren't that easy to pull out. I went to home depot this morning and all they had were thin metal pins. Does anyone know where I can get one? Maybe ACE Hardware or some other store.

It looks more like a hitch pin.Originally posted by DanielCYour dealer. Marine supply store. Industrial bolt supply house. Is it a cotter pin (bent piece of wire) or a hitch pin? A tractor dealet might have the hitch pin, but probably not a stainless one.Previous:

Grainger and Fastenal are in the same building which was literally a couple blocks from my office. I went to Grainger, they didn't have any stainless in stock. I went to Fastenal and they only had a Zinc one. So I bought the Zinc one($.23) for the weekend and ordered 5 stainless ones from Grainger. Thanks for the info.Previous:

Wow! $3.50 for the 2001 and more vintage boats is some pretty hefty markup! I've lost probably 4 of those to date so picked up a handful of them at the local True Value hardware store. I know they were under a buck apiece.
I took my remaining pin in and went through all their fasteners and found replacements the same size. I wonder if the '02 and newer style pin would fit my older boat?'08 Super Air Nautique 210

The newer style pin is bigger in diameter- eyeballing it Id say its 1/4" in diam vs. the 1/4" of the earlier pins. Im sure it would work if you simply drilled out the holes.Originally posted by jhiestandI wonder if the '02 and newer style pin would fit my older boat?1990 Ski Nautique
