2006 Belly tank filling up

Our 2006 210 SANTE belly tank will fill herself up after 3 days in the harbour. It's no biggy, but I find it a bit strange. The Jabsco pump is above the water line and the rears are staying empty. Anybody has the same problem and found a solution? Execpt for closing the ball valve, that is a hassle each time. I would expected the Jabsco pumps would fix these problems.

Jabsco impeller died? I heard about a factory program to change them under waranty. Contact your dealer!

The tank is below the water line, and no matter how good a pump is, it will leak. The only way to stop this is to shut the valve to the tank.

It must be an issue with the impeller in the ballast pump. The ones in my 236 don't leak a drop.

Hi Jeff, you must be right. The impellers of all 3 ballast pumps were renewed last winter to the new smaller versions (so no fuses blown outs). I've seen they put the new ones in it. It fills and empties without a problem and very fast. It's just ignoring that the belly tank is always full when we get to the boat after 2-3 days.
