Fuel filter for 94 Pro Boss TBI

I've been trying to find out what fuel filter I have on my 94 Pro Boss TBI engine. I ordered a filter that Ski Dim thought would work, but it was the wrong type. I have an inline filter. Does anyone know the part number or a place I could look this up? I can't really get to the filter without taking it off, but I'd prefer to have the new one when I take it off. Thanks.

I have the same year/motor and just changed mine this weekend. The filter that I pulled out of the boat was a Wix 33299, which has 1/2" connections on either side. Problem is/was, I have (and you too probably) 3/8" fuel lines so it looks like the previous owner installed the wrong sized filter.

The proper p/n for 3/8" connecitons is Wix 33033. Any auto parts store should be able to cross-reference the Wix part number to another filter they have in stock.

Thanks. Oreilly's near my house carries Wix, so I should be able to get that easier than I expected.

Do you know if that is the only fuel filter on the boat? (I believe it is)

Yes, I believe that is the only one - at least on mine. I went looking for a fuel/water separator last year when doing the beginning-of-the-year-maintenance, and couldn't find one - only found the in-line filter.

Adding a fuel/water separator is on my to-do list though..

Yeah, I was wondering if there was a fuel/water separator, but I didn't see one.

BTW - I found the Wix 33033 at my local Oreilly's for $5.

I replaced it last night with the Wix 33033. The one that was on there was a PAA 13449. Not sure about it, but it was the same size as the Wix. Only difference was the inside position of the filter.
