    leaking under console

I need to get under there and check but i am figuring it is the heater core leaking which is creating water pooling under the dashboard. I tried searching, but does anyone remember of any threads that showed how to either bypass the core (i don't need the heater) or replace the core to eliminate this problem?

I just use a piece of copper tubing to bypass for winterizing but you could do the same and leave it - just pull the hoses off the core and put the tubing in between and tighten the clamps.

If you don't need the heater pull the hoses off at the engine. unscrew the barbs and use plugs to seal them off. if you leave them in you can always replace the core later. If you do it at the engine it's usually easier than getting under the front.
