No Power to Keypad or Breaker Panel on 2005 SANTE

I have been chasing wires all day and have found that there is no power coming to the fuse panel under the dash. The battery is fully charged and is getting volts to the master/ballast switch but no lights there either? And of course the keypad will not light up either?
    Any help would be great

Are you any good with a volt meter? If so, just start tracing backwards from the key pad until you get a voltage reading. You could also start at the battery and work your way forward. If you go from the battery forward when ever you stop getting a voltage reading you have found your problem..

Incase you don't know how to use a volt meter, turn the ignition on or, or whatever should turn on your power, then touch the positive wire of the volt meter (with the voltmeter set to somewhere around 12V) to the wires that should be the hot wires (the positive) and touch the negative of the voltmeter to a ground (most anything metal on the engine that is not painted. Bolts are a great ground). Whenever you get a reading (probably 12v or at least close to it) you have found your problem if you started at the key pad working backwards. And as I said earlier, if you start at the battery going forward, whenever you stop seeing a voltage reading you have found the faulty component.

I hope that helps. That is sort of the short how to.

Do 05 models have the toggle switch that turns all power off, just powers the bilge pumps, or turns all power on? That would be my first guess. Either that switch is turned off, or the wires have come loose from it. I had a similar problem with my 03 and found one of the wires going to that swtch had been pulled off.

In my experience you always want to look for the easy stuff you pass over because you think it can't be that simple. Hope that is all it is. Wiring bugs can be a PITA!

My 06 206 has a toggle switch inentified as All On / Off / Bilge Only. If your set up is similiar you need to have the toggle switch in the All On position for power to be at the Key Pad. (Also verify that all of the wires are connected to the battery)

        Hope this helps.

I have had the wires just pop off the switch before. It causes an all dead situation which is not fun when you are drifting towards a spillway.
