I really want to see how good those look in the water, especially at night.

Top notch Grant (and everyone else involved - especially Clay for that super clean router job  ).

I dont know if you caught it but the power for the swim deck lights comes threw the Metal swim step brackets. There is no wires to connect or disconnect or dirilling into your boat to power the swim platform.
The left side braket has the Pos+ connection and the right side has the Neg - connection. I had seen this method of powering the swim platform a year or so back from Neil Felt. I tryed it out myself when he told me about it and fianally got around to doing it when Mike Ski showed up with his Underwater LED's.

What gauge wire are you running for the lights? Is there any real drop off in power from running through the swim platfrom brackets?

That is a neat idea. Grant you did great work on the install. On boats there is a concern with electrolysis on + charged metal components exposed to sea water (I don't think it iis a problem with fresh water). Did you determine if the draw is any greater in the water compared to out of the water? Was just curious.

Grant your nuts man, very impressive like everything else on your boat. Can't wait to see the pics of it in the water!

Sorry, too late to add to my last post. But what happens if you are swimming in the water and touch both metal brackets at the same time? Do you connect the circuit and get shocked or what?

Hollywood: Thanks 4 the pic's that looks pretty cool. Sorta like a jet thrust when the boat in on plane. I cant wait to see what my'n look like. Im not gonn have my boat in the water for some time so Ill just have to assume what they will look like.

The lights in the pic's look like regular 3 light Non waterproof puck's
I could be wrong. I was suprised at how much light it looks like the put out.

And no you wont be shocked by the current between the swim step braket's cool Idea though, LOL J/K
