Kwik Lift Trailer Jack???

Anyone have any experience with this type of trailer lift/jack. It is simple and compact but doesn't seem like it would be stable or easy to engage in place. Any comments?

I have used them before. They work great as long as you are on hardpack. If you are on a soft spot they will sink in under load. The contact patch is not wide enough. But it works most of the time.
