    Horn noise coming from engine

Ive got a new to me 1998 Super Sport (super air)

Ive got most of the issues sorted out, but my last one it that there is a horn noise coming from the engine bay and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it is coming from. It makes the noise when you start the engine up, then it goes away after awhile of idling. It also does it out on the water, can't hear it when you are driving, but as soon as you put in back into netural it has a rolling idle, comes back on, then goes away after it idles for awhile once it finds the steady idle.

The previous owner had put a new throttle postion sensor in, but it was a hack job of crimping (im assuming the crimps were full of corrosion) so I replced it with the factory one and it idles amazing when I start it up in the driveway now (haven't had a chance to take it back out on the water), but the horn noise won't go away.

I ran a test on the EEC with the innova 3145 and am returning normal codes.

My only thoughts of what left to check are for vacuum leak or maybe a stuck idle air controller.

Has anyone else come across this strange noise, or have any ideas what it could be? I posted a video to youtube of the noise it is making and added the link.

I would go with the vacuum leak or at least an air leak of some sort as well. Have you thought about maybe getting a spray bottle with water and spraying any joints you see coming from the air intake to the intake manifold and the intake and listening for any change in the sound. You can safely do this anywhere you have air flow or vacuum. You can also use this method on the idler pulleys and the belt to see if they're somehow making the noise as well.
