OEM vs. WEMA Fuel Sender for 07 SV211?

Hey everyone,

The fuel sending unit in the belly tank of my 2007 SV211 is dead.

I’m about to order a replacement and I'm debating between:

1. OEM 11.5" Swing Arm (Part #3450)
2. WEMA / KUS 11" Tubular Sender (240-33 Ohm) to fix the needle bounce.

For anyone who has installed the WEMA on this era of boat:

• Was it a simple plug-and-play install with the factory wires and bolt holes?
• Do you have any tricks for scraping the old gasket off without dropping junk into the gas tank?
