Starting issue with 2022 Nautique 200

    Hello,
The engine starts and runs for about 10–15 minutes, then shuts off and won’t restart. At times it even stalls while idling, and other times it simply won’t start again after being turned off. After sitting for 3–4 hours, it will usually restart and run for another 10–15 minutes before the issue repeats.
When it refuses to start, the error code indicates the Emergency Kill Switch. We’ve inspected the switch and even attempted to bypass it with a jumper, but haven’t replaced it yet. Should the switch show a resistance value (around 2.0 kΩ) when open? Ours only reads either open circuit or fully closed (0 ohms), although I’ve seen some switches read about 2.2 kΩ when not engaged.
Additionally, during no-start conditions, all voltage readings appear normal—around 12.3 VDC at the battery, engine, and fuse box. However, the display unit shows 0.0 volts, as if there’s an open circuit somewhere in the 12V system.
When using the hot wire kit, the fuel pump and ignition relays activate, but the starter relay does not. If we manually jumper the starter relay contacts, the engine will crank. Does the hot wire kit bypass the Emergency Kill Switch?
Also, what actually controls the starter relay? Is it activated directly by the ECM, or does it depend on a chain of switches, keypad inputs, and circuit breakers?
