I am trying to verify a couple things on winterizing my 2018 g23 coastal. I just picked the boat up a couple weeks ago. I called a nautique dealer to have them come do the winterize professionally which they said they aren’t familiar with these…
I googled and found a post on this forum that just says empty the raw water strainer and pull the two blue plugs on the engine. I want to confirm I don’t need to touch the v drive? And what about the heat exchanger and water strainer? I wasn’t planning on running anti freeze through it as I thought coastals already have that in it? Just don’t want to ruin my new boat and didn’t figure on needing to learn to do this until the only nautique dealer around said they don’t work on coastals. I don’t know if they’re just salty I bought private party or if that’s a real thing. My garage is not heated but it’s connected to my house and insulated walls and doors. I’m in Washington state and I don’t think my garage has ever been below freezing but want to be safe.
thanks for the help!
