It is either the standard 351 (260 HP) or the 351 HO (285/290 HP). If you can post a picture of the engine ID tag, we'll know for sure. Alternately you could post a picture of the side of the heads. The GT-40 heads will have three bars, and that would indicate that it is an HO engine.Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. While I would love to help everyone, I simply do not have time to respond to all of the inquiries. Please post your questions on the forum, so that all of our members have a chance to answer.
