Crankshaft position Sensor issue? 2018 G23 H6

Hi guys, I’m wondering if I can get some help. I have a 2018 G 23, that has 280 hours on it. Over the last couple years we experienced a couple of odd things. We’d be driving the boat and all of a sudden it would just shut off completely. We would restart and we would go. This happened a couple times over the course of 2 1/2 years while surfing most recently yesterday I was doing a circle to come back and get my surfer. And the boat kind of stuttered shut off and said performance issue shot a code of 337.
From what I can understand, it sounds like potentially the crankshaft position sensor is faulty or the wiring to it?. Could anybody chime in and give me their thoughts? I was going to go and buy one as I need to get the boat going as it’s the long weekend coming up.. any input on changing it or any further input would be great.

I'm still experiencing intermittent shutdowns after replacing the sensor. I also cleaned up some corrosion on the negative battery terminal, but that didn't fix the problem either.
