ID:	686277I have a 2014 210 fitted with a 5.7 v8 pcm ex 343 fuel injection engine.
Starts on the button every time when cold but once hot it just spins over and won’t fire
I’ve changed plugs and distributer and fuel filter.
I have spark and it stinks of fuel when I’ve been trying to start.
It sounds like it’s flooded but not sure how unless the injectors are leaking fuel when it’s turned off if that’s possible?
Not sure if it’s a coincidence but it’s started to do this after I’ve fitted a surf pipe so wasn’t sure if I’d knocked something on the engine as it was tight to get in to the exhaust.
Any help would be much appreciated

Thought someone would have chimed in on this too...I do not have the same engine, but would rule out knocking something on the engine when installing the surf pipe if it starts cold and runs fine until you shut it down. I would suspect there is an electrical part that is fine until it gets hot. I had a bad coil on my lawn tractor that acted similarly. Would start fine and pull hard until it got hot. Apparently the bad coil was fine until it got hot and it expanded a bit. Could it be a bad coil?

I had an older boat with an inboard outboard Merc engine and it would occasionally do that. Turned out to be a bad relay sensor. $15 LoL
If I remember correctly- I think there is a section in the PCM motor manual about resetting something on the engine when it’s flooding. Sorry don’t have my manual to tell you what it was - but I downloaded it from Nautique .com
