Hour meter "frozen" on 1092,2 hours?

    Hi guys,
I have a 2006 220 SANTE with the 6.0ltr and i have something strange, I hope you can help.
My hour meter is frozen on 1092,2 hours and will not show anything else, all the other functions on this gauge are working fine, even the hours left is still counting but the hour meter only shows 1092,2 and will not move. What can I do?
Does anyone know what wire is sending this signal from the engine part?

    Hope you can help.
    Gr
    Paul.

I'm pretty sure that all that era gateway box/gauges all freeze up at 999hrs. A engine scan will give you a current hr reading if your seasonally wanting to track your hours,.
