'95 GT40 died last week after surfing with a FULL tank of gas. Started right up an hour later and ran fine for 3 more days, no issues.
Was this just a vapor lock? Has anyone else had this issue? It was 95 degrees at Lake of the Ozarks and the boat was tipped up from surfing.
Mechanic at the Marina recommended changing all the electrical (cap/rotor, spark plugs/wires) when it wouldn't start. It would crank but no catch. Probably something I should do anyway, but wondering if I can wait until winter maintenance to work on it. Also need to replace the fuel filter.
