    TRANS needed for 2001 Super Air

    TRANSMISSION.....2001 SUPER AIR GT-40

    anyone know a source that keeps one on the shelf for exchange?

    anyone know a source for rebuild?

    mine started slipping yesterday....no warning at all!

      Do you know what transmission you have? I have a 40A core I am looking to sell, it would need at least a partial rebuild though. I upgraded to an 80A last year. The 40A had a leak that I was unable to repair. I replaced the front seal and gasket, but it still leaked over time. It did not have any issues if the fluid had been refilled though - no slipping or grinding. You or a professional may be able to fix what I could not.

          SKIDIM generally has them available (80A - you can't buy a 40A anymore) but I don't think they do an exchange. I have an 80A that needs a rebuild...

              Parts aren't generally available to rebuild the 40A's anymore. So you have to upgrade to the 80A. I would call SkiDim or Nautique Parts.
