I'm looking for advice before I tear everything apart. My starboard ballast discharge pump stopped working, but I don't think it's the pump. When I press and hold the keypad button to discharge, the light is not blinking. That leads me to believe it's an electrical issue. The fill pump and connection is fine, as well as the fill and discharge for the other pumps. I had the port side fill pump go bad and replaced it a month or so ago. When I pushed the button, the light came on even though the pump had failed. That's why I think it might be electrical/switch at keypad. My boat is sitting on the trailer with a full starboard tank, so if I have to get under the tank to inspect or fix anything, I'll need to pump the water out with a transfer pump first. So before a buy a transfer pump, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on what the problem might be. I have a volt meter and will start the process of disconnecting things from the pump forward (I believe the connection right behind the ballast tank is wired into the pump, but I can't see for sure and my arm can't get down inside the pump space to verify). I just wanted to ask the question before I got too far into it.
