Wondering if anyone has used C&S Marine for only a partial vinyl replacement instead of full replacement. If so, how did it turn out and how closely were they able to match your existing vinyl. The quote I received to do the whole boat is more than I'd care to spend and I really only need to replace several cushions. But if the color match was noticeably different, it would probably drive me crazy.

I ordered skins for 4 cushions this fall and installed them myself over the winter. I sent them my hull ID and they sent me a few vinyl samples to color match. I will say that they're very close. Considering most of my vinyl is 18 years old, I'm quite pleased with the match. They're very responsive and helpful, too. -

ive used them in 3 separate occasions. Great customer service and the skins are almost identical. As Ryan mentioned, the original skins on my boat are 17 years old, so there is some fading which i think is the reason for not being exactly perfect color match. But its really quite close. Im ordering from them again after this season... I wouldnt order skins from anyone else....Just keep in mind its typically a 3 month turnaround time from ordering to receiving the skin, so plan ahead.Migs

One of my considerations for choosing an MC or a Nautique was availability of getting replacement interior skins as I tend to keep my boats for a while. No one is providing this service for any of the other major brands to my knowledge. Having the service went a long way in having the Nautique on the lift today.Comment
