Doing some spring maintenance and flushed the trans fluid. Definitely shows some color change.

At first I thought those were five-gallon buckets, and I was wondering how in the world you had that much in there!!

Now I realized they must be smaller containers.

Funny! Next time I'll add 'the banana for scale'.

They are 32oz yogurt containers each marked at a one quart line. I measure what I remove to help make sure the right amount goes back in. My hand extraction pump pulled out just under two quarts

I usually change tranny fluid annually. My annual boat hours typically run between 40-50 hours. Some may think this is a bit over-kill, but it’s cheap insurance in my opinion. Fluid extractor makes this a 10 minute exercise. I feed my PCM 40A trannys Valvoline full synthetic Max Life. Good to go.

Yeah, a good fluid extractor and the right funnel make this an easy job. I upped my extractor game last year and expect to do this annually now.
