2012 PCM ex343 low RPM at WOT

I know it is not a Nautique (sorry everyone) but I thought I could give this forum a try because I believe Nautique uses PCM. Thanks in advance!!!

new to us 2012 MB Sports F21 with PCM ex343 rebuilt 25 hours ago with complete long block replacement including spark plugs, plug wires, cap/rotor kit, fuel filter, and thermostat. The v-drive and transmission were also serviced at that time, and a new steering cable was installed.

We received the boat 3 weeks ago. First 3 trips to the lake the boat ran PERFECTLY. The fourth trip, boat would not start. After some trouble shooting we replaced the ignition coil assembly (RA 1170111Ignition Coil Assembly) and now fires right up. Idles smooth and silky in neutral and revs nice, easy and HIGH RPM in neutral.

    HOWEVER…

on the water test IN GEAR the boat is sluggish and RPMs will not exceed 3000 ish.
Oil pressure is good, temperature is perfect.

    anybody have any ideas? Thanks!!!

Sounds like not enough fuel pressure under load. Check fuel pressures - key on, idle, under load. Get a new fuel pump too??

Could also be something as simple as a fuel filter. Had the same issue in the past.
