dwelsh The DIY kit is $167 for both Paddlewheel and Garmin GPS operation. This really just covers parts and labor involved. I assume you watched my video here https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...re-speedometer or at least scanned it. Where is the gateway on your boat, under the dash or back in the transom? Have you upgraded to the PP Stargazer? If you have neither PW or Garmin GPS I have a standalone version that is $182 which includes the GPS puck. All kits include the board with wires pre-installed, grommet plugs for the pitot holes, screws, standoffs, and the cable that runs from the gateway to the PP box or GPS puck. It also includes spare pins in case your gateway P7 is not populated.
