Kneeboard hull looks like the vintage Obrien BlackMagic without the adjustable fins.

What sort rack are you using on your tower? I have yet to find a good one for my board....

Also - regarding the storage mold...been there, suffered that. Now when I store the boat I run couple of convection air dryers and toss in a couple damp-rid pails. Pretty much ended any mold growth.

LOL, my 43-year old former defensive lineman and wrestler knees could not handle that. My daughter loves to kneeboard, though!

A black magic would be sweet to have, but this is just the Ariel 360

I have a Samson tower with typhoon spinning racks. I usually take the kneeboard and lay it on top of the rack use the bungee cords and also take the knee strap loop it thru the rack and back to its self. Holds really nice

I put damp rid in my camper and travel trailer, I didn't in the boat because I feel like living in Washington and the boat being stored outside they would prob have to be emptied every week. Then again if it saves the interior it will have to be done. I'll give it a try!

Thanks for how you attached the board....don't think that will work with my rack.

I think my convection dryers are the primary reason I don't get mildew. I run 3 of them (one 100 watt, two sixty watt) under the storage cover and I think they warm the air just enough to mitigate the condensation that leads to mildew. The damp rid is just a different angle just in case. One winter I was lax on precautions and had a bunch on boat mildew and it was no fun scrubbing it out.

BTW, I'm in the PNW too and those big damp rid tubs last about 12 weeks or so...

Link to the convection dryers you're using? I just run a box fan on a timer in mine. Probably not the most energy efficient, though.

Roswell does make kneeboard racks and tines.

Dryer link is above. I've thought about a fan.

Dryers may be more to run than a fan - cost about $15 / month in electricity.

After I winterize my boat, I spray all the vinyl with spray nine and scrub with a brush to remove dirt, body oil etc. and use plenty of paper towels. The worst thing to do is apply vinyl treatment, especially armour all, it promotes mildew. HO Joker is the best kneeboard.

HaHa, chime in, Love the HO Joker, it was ahead of it's time in kneeboard technology. You couldn't pay me enough to ride one today, I have the battle scars to prove my case.

Kidder pro link. Best. Board. Ever. Good luck finding one. I actually have two. A late model one that I bought new in...um...the 90s...and a butt ugly graphics early model I found in the corner of a used sports store.

I have one as well and would agree.

I keep looking for a decently priced one for our daughter, but they're few and far between. We have a couple at our family cabin, but they have fallen victim to mice chewing up the foam.
