2022 G23 Failed Rudder Position Sensor

    Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone has had any trouble with their rudder position sensor.

I have a 2022 Nautique G23 that has been perfect for the last 150+ hours. Last weekend I noticed that my rudder position (on the Linc Panoray) was showing the rudder hard to the right. Just to be clear the rudder is working and the boat responds but the rudder indicator is showing hard right. I have tried: Turning off the boat, Turning off the battery for a minute, Turning off the Battery for a couple of days, Cleaning the contacts between rudder and rudder position sensor, Unplugging rudder position sensor. I am showing no faults and in the settings, I am showing 4.531v on the "Rudder Position Sensor".

Anyone out there having the same issue? Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Pretty sure the sensor just failed, but thought I would ask the form first

First thing to do is get back there and see if the sensor is still properly attached to the rudder assembly. Sometimes they'll vibrate loose over time.

Any solve here? Ours went south about a week ago @ 160 hours. I saw a thread or 2 indicating a bad sensor.
I pulled panels yesterday, plug was solid. It is a mother bear to get to, maybe with the cross brackets removed, maybe.
Where the indicator really comes in handy is on trailer loading, 2 bars to the left and it loads almost perfect every time, other than that, not used to having that feature, so can live without it. Still under warranty, I'll have them change out my impeller at the same time, that doesn't look like much fun either. I will say these newer boats, a lot of nice features, but that also means more crap in the way. A K&N air filter, when did we start doing that?
