I pulled my hardtanks in the rear and tossed the old sending units as they didn't work anyways. I now have my dry-run protection control bypassed by jumping the connector wires. My gauges now read 100% all of the time. I would like to remove the gauges and replace the space with something more functional like USB charging plugs and rocker switches for stern light and tower lights.
My question is: If I remove the gauges, will abandoned wiring render the ballast control module dysfunctional in way aside from the fact I cant see the level in my ballast? If so, does anyone know the fix? Does anyone have a picture of the back of one and know the wiring schematic?
