Heater Ports Not Blowing - G21

We tried to use our heater this morning and the rear heater vents aren't blowing any air. (The windshield defroster vent has significant airflow, and it's warm, so I know the heater is working. And the whole setup was working this spring.) The hose vents you can pull out down by the driver's feet and in the rear of the boat have no air flow. Everything else is working fine, no issues. Is there a fuse or something that would control just those 2 outlets? Seems really strange that only 2 of the 3 heater ports aren't working.

It sounds to me that the “hot tube” (the pullout heater tube) has become either disconnected from the “marine wrapper” (heater box) or is obstructed/kinked near the wrapper.

Yep, I agree. The hoses have likely been torn or have come disconnected. I am very careful who I let pull the tubes out. Pull too hard and they WILL tear. Once that happens, it is a pain to replace them.

It's not that uncommon for them to come disconnected. The design of the connections (or lack there of) which is just bare plastic flex vent tubing is easily torn or pulled off. On the last one I fixed I used 2 turns of Gorilla tape around the end of the tube where it connected to the vent flange to give it some structure of some sort to run a screw with a washer through. Seems to be holding so far.

Like others have said, if one or two ports are blowing, most likely d/c somewhere or kinked. Best of luck, I here they hide the blower motor pretty good now.

Thanks for the feedback. The hoses still feel attached, don't seem to have been ripped out. Looks like I'll be digging to find the connection.
