Recently the auto-bilge switch on our 2008 SN 196 seems to have stopped working, the light doesn’t light up when I press the button and the bilge doesn’t seem to turn itself on. If I use the dedicated bilge pump switch that is connected to the all on switch the bilge pump runs just fine so I don’t believe there is a problem with the actual bilge pump system but I’m wondering if anyone has an idea if that auto-bilge switch that is built into the keypad unit has just gone bad or if there is another part of the system that could be causing the issue. I looked up what a replacement keypad goes for and the cheapest it comes is about $350 so I would love to not have to replace the whole unit. If anyone has some insight I would love to hear it! Thanks!

The auto bilge is part of the pump itself.
The least-expensive option may be to buy another pump with that feature, hook it up, and see if that fixes the issue. Keypads are not cheap!

Yeah, I had one of these go bad last year. The pump would run, but the auto mode wasn't working (i.e. it ran continuously anytime I had the switch on). A new pump is like $70. Works like a charm now.

That’s great to hear, hopefully the same works for our boat. Did you get the replacement pump from nautiqueparts.com or would you mind dropping a link to the one you purchased? Thanks!

I have actually replaced both of mine this summer (one because the outlet fitting broke off). I bought one from Nautique Parts. The other, I bought off of Amazon because I needed it ASAP. The Rule 25SA is the pump that you want.
