    2015 G23 - Shift Override Button

Struggling to find anything on replacing the shift override button (allows you to rev engine in neutral) for G23. Mine apparently is bad, I can’t ever get the boat to rev up in neutral even after pressing the override switch. Not sure if this button lights up after being engaged?
We also have random issues starting the boat and have to reset by pressing STOP multiple times or actually turning batteries off and back on. I’m assuming this override switch could cause that also.

Anyone else had issues with these shift override buttons? If so, is there a replacement? Service is pretty backed up and I’d like to fix this myself if possible.

    Thanks for the help!

Yeah mine doesn't work either and there are other posts on here about it. My understanding is that the shift position sensor is the problem and they even have a "Product Information Advisory" on it (see below). So to me they know they have issues but are not going to fix it for you. My understanding is that these are located within the shift assembly and not that hard to replace though I have not done this myself.

BTW not sure if that is the correct part or not, never got conformation and never took the time to pull the shifter apart to look at it. If someone here knows more about it I would love for this to be confirmed or corrected.

Thanks for the help! I’m trying to diagnose another issue with steering wheel shaking and can’t tell if it’s motor related or not. I figured revving it up in neutral would be best way to determine, then found I wasn’t able to rev it up. I also called dealer and waiting on a call back.

Would love to know if this is the correct part to change.
