    NSS Rear Covers on G23

    Been seeing a lot of posts on NSS covers coming off so I checked mine on the 2020 G23 and found a crack on the same inboard screws on both the right and left side covers. Definitely a warranty repair, but be sure to check your covers carefully.

      My 2019 G21 has both NSS covers cracked at the same screw locations. Looks just like yours. Boat has like 75 hours on it. Not sure when it happened but I noticed this spring. I assume this is from tightening the screws down to tight during manufacture?

          This defect is more common than one might think. Spoke to a Nautique Service Technician who has seen this issue before [boats coming in and the NSS cover(s) is (are) missing]. I contacted Nautique about this issue and the reply was " ...take your boat into your local Nautique dealer for repair ..." Doing the math, that repair will cost approximately $1,000 for 2 NSS Covers, 2 black decals, a lake charge, and labor [installation]. Pretty disappointing reply and an expensive fix. 2019 G21's comment about their boat having only 75 hours and already seeing cracking speaks volumes.
