I have read multiple forums about the faria box issue with gages. My question is this: my gas gage is not working, my oil pressure gage is bouncing back and forth, and the screen on the tachometer is not displaying anything but the tach is still working. Is the screen not working, part of the faria box issue? I have a 2004 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition. Any help appreciated!

I had a similar situation on my boat when I bought it. The tach LCD didn't work, a few of the others seemed funny.. I replaced all the gauges ( it was before I was a member here and new about the gateway box ) and they all ended up working. The small gauges being daisy chained was my issue, the one that was not working cut out the rest. I tested the ones that were funny after I put in the new gauge that I figured out was bad, and the others worked.
I don't know how "Normal" my situation was, so I wouldn't count on it. Plus trying to find the replacement gauges can be a pain. You can buy all new in the 08-10 design, but that's about it.
If it is a gateway issue, you will be hard pressed to find one for sale.Comment
