Can anyone tell me what your voltage gauge shows? I recently had dealer bypass fuse in battery box for EEC power source due to blown fuse and now gauge is at 12 or below.

Low voltage to the dash in that era of boat is VERY common. The best solution is to run a dedicated ground wire from the gauges to the ground location on the engine block.
Once you do that, you'll see 13+ on the gauge all the time.Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. Jeff - after EEC power source was bypassed the voltage is little lower then normal... after running the boat the voltage did not rise, stayed alittle below 12, Do you think its how it was rewired after blown fuse in battery box.

I completely rewired the dash in my 97. Dedicated power from the battery to a custom fuse block with relays triggered via the ignition. Matching large grounds. Bypassed all the factory dash harness connectors with new ones. Did this to solve power problems with my PP and stereo headunit. Even after I did all this my factory voltage gauge was wonky. Voltage was correct at the endpoints so I quit worring about it.

tks. still want to know why voltage is lower now after rewiring EEC power source . i.m going to call Nautique dealer that did the work. i sense something is draining the battery and alternating not doing its job but I could be totally wrong. I"m not a mechanic but have logic. quite honestly if I have a charged power and nothing else is wrong i'm with you...don't' worry about it. thanks again
