ECOM and Aquastar Software : Zero Off Upgrade

Looking for some information on the ECOM cable and Aquastar software. This will be for the Zero Off upgrade I need on my 09 SAN 210 w/ round puck.

Is this software only applicable for doing the Zero Off upgrade or is it capable of reading the ECU for error codes, clearing codes, etc. Is there another/better software that can be used with the ECOM cable for reading the ECU?

Any other feedback that anyone has learned from doing this upgrade?

If you already have ZO on your boat, you should just need the new antenna and cable, and I think the software upgrade is usually free. I may be wrong on that.

The cable will not read ECU codes. The software will only be for updating the ZO module.

To read engine codes, you'd need DIACOM software and the proper cable.

Been years, but yeah software upgrade was free for me. Not being near a dealer, I took out my ZO head unit and sent it in, and they sent it back.
