When I made a winterization attachment for the garden hose, I used a 1 1/4" barb x 1 1/4" barb x 1" FPT TEE to connect between the strainer and the engine. The hose at this point is 1 1/4 and this works on both my SANTE 230 and my friend's 2018 GS20. I would expect the hose to be the same size by the oil cooler...

Do you mean at the transmission cooler? If so, the easiest way to drain this is to loosen the hose clamp and remove the water hose from the cooler to allow it to drain. The drain plug on the tranny cooler is always a PIA to get to.

I'm pretty sure it's 1.25", but can't remember for sure. I would check for you, but my boat is at our lake house. Surely someone with confirm.

    2019 gs20 6.0l zr4 5 gallon bucket method

We have a 2019 gs 20 with the 6.0l zr4. I want to run it for winter service using the 5 gallon bucket method. The boat is up at our cabin so i cant measure the hose size myself. I was wondering what size of hose goes to the oil cooler as it seems thats the place suggested online to connect too for servicing and coolant suction. Hopefully someone out there knows what size and/or has some tips & tricks. Im also planning to use this hose setup to suck rv antifreeze into the engine. Please and thanks in advance chad
