Just Replaced steering cable and serviced rudder w/ new packing and grease. Turns like butter butter but now I have a leak, which I can only assume is from the rudder packing nut. On install I was sure not to overtighten but I did snug it down with the wrench nicely.
Not sure about the Vdrives but if anyone has serviced the rudder on these 2000+ TSC1 (not sure about TSC2-3) ski nautique's knows you have to pull the fuel tank.
my question is if anyone has a trick to tightening the rudder packing nut WITHOUT pulling the fuel tank?
