Linc control of heater

Anyone with a 2018 or prior Linc system in their boat know if it controls just the on/off power to the heater or does it control the fan speed as well?

On my G23 2017 on the LINC system it is a simple on/off only option . I wish you could adjust the fan speed but it is not an option at least on my boat. I understand your concern, seems like it would be simple to adjust the fan speed

That's what I though. Do you use a separate fan speed switch or do you just power it on and it is in the high (assuming) fan position?

Just powers it on from the panoray screen under climate prompt. I guess it is in the high fan speed postion , but I never gave it any thought since it was just on/off anyway

You will have go into dealer settings on your panoray screen to check the heater box ( ie Y or N). Currently your panoray screen is programed for "No Heater". I don't know how to go into dealer settings and you may need some type of code to access, but it will be required I do believe to complete your heater install

That is all correct. You will need the dealer code to get into that menu in the LINC. From there, it's a simple Yes/No. There is no fan speed control.

Great. I do have the code from the dealer. They were more than happy to not have to install this for me at this busy time of year.

Can you share the LINC code for the heater? I’m installing my heater tonight and would love to take it out tomorrow.
