"Lifting rings"
Not sure if you read the whole thread but the question is what do you tie the trailer to when the lifting rings are covered but the Cups that we're common in the 90s and early 2000 Nautiques.
They awnser to is the platform brackets as the poster 2 above me wrote.

I removed the cups on mine because I didn't like the idea of using the platform brackets to strap the boat to the trailer. I've never had an issue with CO, but I'm also not hanging out on the platform with the engine running for extended periods of time. It also seems a bit pointless considering the exhaust gases are still going to come up from all around the platform anyway! Everyone has their own opinions though... do what you're comfortable with!Jason

While the likely hood of this happening is low, there is a reason all companies moved to solid swim platforms and sealed off the back. The boat can create a back draft up the back of the boat which can enter the rear of the boat. If you are going to leave the the rear of the platform exposed (and even if you aren't) at least make sure nobody is hanging out on the platform or swim pad while the boat is running. An FAE is probably would also help with this.Originally posted by core-rider View PostI removed the cups on mine because I didn't like the idea of using the platform brackets to strap the boat to the trailer.
