Thread sealant for engine drain plugs and FCC

What do you guys use for thread sealant for your engine drain plugs and FCC. I have always just used teflon but don't want to use it for the FCC. Thanks.

Teflon (white) should not be used with fuel or oils.
If the seal is compression fitting or AN type then no thread sealer - the threads provide no mechanical sealing.

If pipe type fitting then use the yellow sealant tape. It is fuels compatible.

Not sure what engine drain plug you have. Often, they have a copper or aluminum sealing ring.
