    Daily/weekly gelcoat cleaning suggestions

I have a lift and I'm trying to figure out the best way to maintain the gelcoat. Should I simply spray it daily or weekly with a pressure washer? Do I need to scrub it each time it comes out? Is there a scrubbing pad that I can connect to a polisher?

Obviously I'm a newbie in this area, so I'll appreciate any tips you can provide as I want to keep the boat looking as new as possible.

    Thanks!

I clean it well with mit and wax it twice a season . But every weekend I hose it off with water and wipe it down when putting it back on the lift

What works great for me is to mix up a solution that includes 50% distilled water, 25% vinegar and 25% quick wax (any quick wax should do).

Now just spray it on and wipe it off at the end of each day.

I use Babes Boat Bling to wipe it down. It's a cleaner with wax in it. helps clean and protect. If you have water spots then something else may work better.

Mine is on a lift also... I get in the water once a week and use Hot Sauce. I find it removes the water spots better than Spotless, etc. Takes about 45 minutes to give her a good bath!

I know. It's so weird. It's a mix of spray wax cleaner and stinky foot
