    2006 sv211 - adding ballast for surfing

Just purchased 2006 sv211 and spent last weekend surfing for the first time. I was impressed with the surf wake, better than expected, but have a number of questions. I ran factory tanks full (I understand I should have emptied non surf side rear tank...next time), 1 500lb sac right in front of engine, 1 500lb sac in center, and had 750lbs in passengers. Having 200-300 lbs passengers up front was crucial to get a longer sweet spot in the wave as I read in a couple posts on here, thanks! I plan to add more weight to rear on either side of engine and am looking for advise on the best way. Anyone have experience with the wakemakers piggyback systems? Can I fit the 400 or 600lb sacs on each side over factory tanks? Can the port side handle the weight over the battery switch and fuses, etc.? Is it best to install the piggyback pump system and use the factory pumps/switches for factory tanks and additinoal sacs? Or better for boat/ballast system to just leave factory tanks/pumps as is and use seaprate pumps to drain over side of boat? I see some people remove factory tanks.....is this an easy process that is reversible? Is it necessary? I am new to this and dont really like the thought of removing factory tanks....but if it is harmless to the boat and reversible I would consider it. Knowing I need the weight in the bow to counter additional weight in rear corners is it also helpful/necessary to add sac in ski locker? Last question Does anyone know if I provide piggyback system and ballasts to my marina how much is a reasonable charge to do the install? Cannot wait to get this boat all dialed in so I can surf with only 2 passengers. Thanks for any advise everyone, excited to be part of the nautique family!
