Thank you! IMO every little bit helps. We should make a page of boat engine and crossover parts list for easy look up.

I just put this aftermarket marine grade alternator on. Fired up and worked fine. $100 instead of $300 OEM. Looks the same to me.

I just bought this belt and noticed the spec is slightly longer (62 5/8" vs 62 1/4"). Have you had any issues?

The specs for the Gates K060620 are 62.642" Outside Circumference with a 62.08" Effective Length. It has worked perfectly on my EX330 as a replacement for the Correct Craft R066028 belt. I have been running the Gates belt for 2 seasons now!

I bought the gates belt referenced above would not fit my 08, 230 with the excalibur motor - the gates K060620 is a tad short. No matter how much a tried, that belt wasn't going on. I matched up one at auto zone that is the length above - and will test fit later today if I can find time, it also is identical side by side with the PCM 066028 - stretched tight. The part number is DURALAST 625K6. Underneath that number it says 6PK1590. This belt is $16 at my local auto zone.

Just confirming, I just installed the above belt (DURALAST 625K6) and it goes on tight with the tensioner, just like the factory PCM belt, and a drove around and checked it and all is well. This is for my 08 SAN 230 with the 343 excalibur base motor.
            Cheers!
