Water temp reading is not correct??

On my 04 216, my digital water temp gauge is not displaying the correct water temp. I know its not a "critical" problem but it is annoying the **** out of me.
The water temp on the Perfect Pass seems to be correct but I'd rather use the water temp display on my stock gauges. Anyone have an Idea of whats up?

    Thanks!!

Could your water temp & air temp be switched? Air temp is reading the water temp? If you think thats the problem (your Faria gauge air temp is close to the temp on P Pass) then the wires are backwards at the gateway.

I dont think they could be switched, air temp is correct but the water temp has been reading 35 degrees F. It has been this way for the last 3 times I have been on the water.

You need a new senser. Its mounted in you intake hose near the engine before the water strainer, The part is covered under warranty if you are the original owner.
