    new Nautique owner

Hey everyone I have recently purchased a 1997 Sport Nautique with what i am assuming is the GT40 engine it is a 351 that has been bored and stroked to a 392 with cam Edelbrock aluminum Heads, edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock fuel injection kit. the motor is being put back togehter right now as the PO thought it had a cracked block, the engine guy did a pressure test on it and everything was fine. My question is, when i put it back into the boat, what new parts should i put on the engine as well. I am new to marine applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ID:	366115So I have an update, we got the motor put back together and in the boat. Fought a no spark issue for about 3 hours and finally found a wire that we had grounded was causing no spark. finally got her fired up and broke in the new cam. We have had her out 3 times now and it runs like a top and havent had any issues with water in the oil, so to put it short we are a happy family with a great running boat!

Glad it's running well! Looks way too rough to enjoy the water.

Good to see all went well. I really like seeing repower jobs on here.
