Perfect Pass No Display and Sustained Alarm

Any ideas or seen this before?

PP SG in my 97 Nautique. I was pulling my wife skiing this afternoon (Not using PP control) and then we swam off the platform with the engine off and the stereo on for about 5 min. When I fired the boat back up, the PP display had the backlight on, no display, and the alarm sustains a constant beep.

So far, I have done the following:
    1) Checked the connections on the module to make sure they are all tight
    2) Checked the fuse to make sure in the holder well and clean
    3) Pulled the gauge out and looked through the back hole to make sure all those wires are still soldered to the terminals
    4) Pulled the main power wires out to do a full power down reset
    5) Done the on/off + mode button reset on startup
    6) Turned on all accessory switches, lights, etc to give the most paths back to ground in case it is a grounding issue

    What I have planned next:
    1) Connect the ground straight to the battery to try and prove a low voltage issue 100%
    2) contact PP for any help

      Follow up:
      1) Connected ground to battery
      2) Called PP and they suggested removing the cover on the module and making sure that all chips were still well seated to board

Both complete and showed no change. I did not check my voltaged with a multimeter. Will call PP back and try that tomorrow.

        Saga over.

They had me send the unit back and it took 2 weeks to get from me through Canadian customs and finally to PP. Once they received the unit, they didnt find anything wrong with the hardware, but the software was totally wiped from the unit. No real insight as to why. They replaced the board on the module and sent it back to me the next day. I have had it for a week laying around. I finally got out to the boat, put it in, and redid setup on the unit. Everything works fine now.

A bit of a pain to lose it for a month, but s**t happens. PP more than satisfied me in the customer service department and were extremely easy to work with.
