This is my first ever impeller change, and I feel dumb even having to ask. Can anyone help? It looks like the impeller is located behind the pulleys. I've looked online and searched forums and can't seem to find any pics or directions. Please help!
You will need a 5/16 nut driver to loosen the hoses. a 1/2 wrench to remove the raw water pump from the engine, and a 7/16 wrench to take the pump apart.
The pump will go back on upside down. It will not work that way. There is a screw on the side of the raw water pump body. It goes close to the engine.
Take a picture of the pump before you do this for the first time, if you have a digital camera, or a cell phone with a camera.
