Updated to iOS 4 on my iPhone now doesn't work with the Clarion

I have the iPhone 3GS and the Clarion CMD6 on my 210; and I have recently updated to iOS 4 on my iPhone now doesn't work with the Clarion USB/IPOD connection. It will stay pause and wont play, it was fine before the update.

I have tried it with a few different iPhones to confirm this, my friends thats still have the older version of pre iOS4 works fine, 2 other iPhone 3GS with iOS4 doesnt work...

Any suggestions?

bummer. i know a guy that did that and his phone crashed and had to be reset by apple and can't sync it or else it'll get the new software again. mine has gotton slower, so has my friends. also, if you have a mac w/o 10.5 os you can't sync the iphone 4.

Try powering down your phone and then plug it back in to the USB/iPod connector (still off) and see if it reads. I had the same thing happen to me and that was the resolution--only difference is that I have a Sony stereo instead of a Clarion. The premise was that the stereo needs to "re-recognize" your phone as a completely different device with the new OS on it.
