95 ski nautique dash loose

the dash pod on my 95 ski nautique is loose. Haven't taken it off but appears the screw holes have broken through. Any suggestions so that I can tighten it again?

I had to make a new one I made out of fiberglass and reinforced where the holes was

The screw holes are oversized anyway. It will be 1 of 2 things. I'm going to assume that you have tried to turn the thumb screws and they are spinning.

1. the thread on the thumb screws is shot.?
2. the metal tabs over the screw holes that the thumb screws screw into have broken.

If it's not option 1, it's got to be option 2. If it's the latter, you will have to remove the dash to rectify.

Can you put new metal tabs in? Mine is a little loose.

There are two rivots that hold the bracket to the fiberglass that the screws go into, mine had rivots that broke so the dash was loose. I put new rivots in and fixed the problem.
