Does anyone know if it is possible to power up the gauges, to check fuel level etc, without starting the engine using the linc system?

Sure. Enter your code and press Start one time. Pushing the start once turns on the linc system but the fuel gauge doesn't read anything. Today, the third time I have use the boat, I did notice that sometimes it is possible to have the linc system on (floating and listening to the stereo) and push the start button which lights both blue lights and turns on the gauges.
Any idea how to light both blue lights without cranking the engine? I normally like to check the fuel level in the garage before trailering to the lake so I know if I need to stop and fuel up.
